Only locally on your device. Samstemd makes no network requests and has no servers storing your data. Delete the app and the data goes with it. More in the privacy policy.

Yes. Settings → Export data. You get a zip file with JSON and CSV you can open in Numbers, Excel, or anything else.

Export your data on the old phone (Settings → Export), install Samstemd on the new one, and import the zip via Settings → Import. Alternatively, you can use an iCloud device backup: the Samstemd database comes along, although data only reaches Apple's clouds in encrypted form and only with the device-backup consent you have already given iOS.

Samstemd uses Apple's Foundation Models framework, which requires Apple Intelligence-compatible devices (iPhone 15 Pro and later). If your device doesn't support it, the app shows a shorter template-based observation instead. The feature also needs at least 14 days of logged data to find patterns.

iOS automatically generates a crash report in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data. Search for "Samstemd" and send the report to samstemd@metapol.no. It's fully anonymous — no health data, just the crash stack.

Yes. The Watch is optional and only adds shortcuts. Everything works on iPhone alone.

No. Samstemd is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. We provide no diagnoses, doses, or treatment recommendations. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before changing your medication.

The app ships with a curated Norwegian medication database. If a medication you take is missing, add it manually from Settings → Add medication. You can also email us and we'll consider adding it in the next version.

Settings → Delete all data. Irreversible. Or uninstall the app and the database goes with it, since everything lives locally.
